Be President

Effective 10 September 2026 · Developer: Iordanis Passas, trading as Syndicates BOO Studio · Covers the Android app com.ipassas.bepresident on Google Play

The short version

  • There is no account and no sign-up. You are never asked for your name, email address or any personal detail.
  • The app talks to no server of ours. We run nothing that your game data could be sent to.
  • Ads are the only thing it sends anywhere, and a one-time purchase ends them.
  • Your game is saved on your phone. There is no cloud save and no backup we hold.
  • There is no leaderboard. Your records stay on your device and are never published.
  • No analytics. Nothing reports back on how you play.

What is stored on your device

Everything the game knows: your current run, your records list, your sound and haptics settings, and whether you have bought the ad removal. All of it sits in the app's own storage on the phone, mirrored into Android's preference store so that the system reclaiming memory does not cost you a run.

None of it is uploaded. There is no cloud copy and no account to attach one to. That is a deliberate trade: a save that never leaves the phone cannot leak, but it also cannot follow you to a new one — so back up your device if a run matters to you.

You can clear the save yourself from Options → Delete local save, and the records list from Records → Clear records. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

What leaves your device

Two things, both tied to money rather than to you.

Goes toWhatWhy
Google AdMob Your device's advertising ID, an approximate country-level location derived from your IP address, and standard device information. To show and count the ads that pay for the game. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
Google Play billing, via RevenueCat Whether this Play account has bought Remove ads, and an anonymous purchase identifier that RevenueCat generates itself. To honour the purchase and restore it on a new device. We never see your card, your billing address or any payment credential — Google handles the transaction. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

That table is the complete list. Nothing else is transmitted, and there is no third destination — no server of ours, no analytics service, no content delivery network. The game's writing, artwork and typefaces all ship inside the app.

Ads, and what you can do about them

Two kinds of ad appear, and they behave differently:

  • A short ad shows up occasionally between elections. Buying Remove ads ends this one permanently.
  • A longer ad is always optional — you tap a button asking for it, in exchange for ten points of win probability in a race. It is never forced on you, and it stays available after you buy the ad removal, in case you ever want it.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, the app shows you Google's consent form before it requests a single ad, and no ad loads until you have answered it. You can change that answer later from the same form.

Anywhere. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at Settings → Google → Ads on your phone, which stops ads being personalised.

Ads served in this game are capped at Google's Teen content rating. Be President is a satirical political simulator with corruption, scandal and assassination in it, and Teen is the honest bracket for what belongs beside it. The app is not marked as directed at children and does not use Google's under-age-of-consent treatment.

The one-time purchase

Remove ads is a single payment, not a subscription, and it is the only thing the game ever offers to sell you. Nothing else sits behind it: no content, no mechanic and no advantage is locked, and the game is complete without it.

The transaction happens entirely inside Google Play. We receive only the fact that the entitlement is active, through RevenueCat, which is the service that keeps that answer correct across reinstalls and new devices. If you reinstall, use Restore purchases in the game's options.

What is never collected

  • Your name, email address, phone number, postal address or contacts.
  • Your precise location. The app does not ask for a location permission.
  • Your photos, files, microphone or camera. The app does not request those permissions — the only three it declares are internet access, Google Play billing, and the advertising ID.
  • Anything you type in the game. The character name you choose stays on your device and is never shown to anyone else.
  • Analytics or telemetry of any kind. The app contains no analytics library.
  • Payment details of any kind.

Your choices and rights

  • Delete everything: uninstall the app. Everything is on the device, so there is nothing held on our side to delete — and nothing for us to send you if you ask for a copy, because we have never had any of it.
  • Delete just the save: Options → Delete local save, or Records → Clear records for the records list.
  • Reset the advertising side: Settings → Google → Ads on your phone.
  • Withdraw ad consent in the EEA or the UK: reopen the consent form from the game's options.
  • If you are in the EEA, the UK, California or another region with statutory data rights, write to us and we will respond within 30 days — though in practice the answer is that we hold nothing about you.

Children

Be President is a political simulation containing themes of corruption, scandal, illness and death. It is written for teenagers and adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them, and the app is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families programme.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above, and a material change will be announced in the game before it takes effect. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the revised policy.
