The movement

You found a political movement and pick the country it starts in. From there it spreads from person to person and across borders, on a map with all 195 countries on it.

The world reacts. Governments raise their alert levels, ban rallies, censor the news and close borders. Meanwhile they start drafting a treaty against you. If it gets signed before you've taken the world, the run is over.

You shape the movement through a strategy tree with three branches: Spread, Unrest and Takeover. There are seven ideologies to play, each with its own tree and its own way of winning, and you unlock the next one by winning with the one before. Difficulty goes from Casual, where the treaty takes twice as long, all the way up to Merciless.

If you've played Plague Inc., the shape will feel familiar: start small in one country, spread, and race the world's response. Here what spreads is a movement, not a disease.

The parties and leaders in the game are all made up.
